The morning thereafter

Man and Guy have jumped
out of bed
before the alarm went off.

They are already busy.
They are learning each other's chores.

Bread is being ground
fast and efficiently;
there is no time to waste.

Just work a little longer.

And Man and Guy are content.
But enjoyment will come tomorrow.
When everything may be as usual again.
